- L V PRASAD COLLEGE OF MEDIA STUDIES, BENGALURU ANNOUNCES 10 WEEKS (WEEKENDS) COURSE IN “DIGITAL FILM MAKING”
- Anyone with an interest in filmmaking is eligible for this course. The course will provide you an opportunity to explore scriptwriting, camera, editing and sound design with both aesthetic and technical knowledge and skills. This could be a hobby or the beginning of a serious journey into filmmaking.

Classes will be held over 10 weekends
Eligibility
Anyone with an interest in filmmaking is eligible for this course. The course will provide you an opportunity to explore about the nuances of Digital Film Making.

Course Description
This 10-weekend course will give comprehensive training in producing short films for cinema and television by senior and experienced faculty and practicing filmmakers.
This course will have the following three components
- The First 5 weeks will have intensive classes on theoretical aspects of filmmaking focusing on craft, aesthetics and language of cinema with screenings of pertinent short films and movie clips from National and International movies
- Second 3 weeks will have hands on training on all aspects of filmmaking – writing script, handling DSLR cameras, production management and handling post production (Edit and sound)
- The third 2 weeks will have actual production of short films by every participant with the mentoring of senior faculty.
At the end of the course each participant will carry a short film directed by them (as a team) and basic knowledge of filmmaking that will fire them further into filmmaking
